"Strapping on the double neck Gibson with attitude to burn, this all-girl quartet pays tribute to its swaggering namesake, ripping through the Led Zeppelin catalog with blazing accuracy..."

"The band simply explode... Tough and tight, and incredibly loud... More heart-pumping than anything I've seen... The crowd is starstruck but definitely a little confused as clearly they were all set to be less than impressed... Lez Zeppelin are the best new band I've seen all year, no question."

"Cover bands tend not to release albums, or get legendary producer Eddie Kramer (the original engineer for Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix) on board to supervise. Yet that's exactly what Lez Zeppelin did. Kramer said "I was pleasantly surprised by the level of musicianship, which was tremendous, and I think that's what swayed me, the fact that they were very good and very serious. There are a lot of female musicians around, but finding four girls that could play all the intricate parts that Zeppelin put down, and play with the kind of fervor and intensity that Zeppelin are known for, you've really got to have your (expletive) together. And they did."

"The girls-only tribute to the music of Led Zeppelin filled the Blender Theatre last night as Lez Zeppelin blasted through the legendary songs with the finesse of a surgeon yet the bombast of a freight train... The band's attention to detail did not go unnoticed by the crowd, who fanatically cheered and shouted out song titles while dancing to their favorite tracks... The group especially shined on an electrifying "Black Dog" as Paynes tore through the riff and lick-heavy song like a buzzsaw through wood... After a solid two hours of playing, the band returned to encore with "Rock and Roll" and a mind blowing performance of "Whole Lotta Love..." While a number of quality Led Zeppelin acts play New York City, Lez Zeppelin takes the works of Page, Bonham, Plant and Jones to the next level. Rather than merely recreating the songs, the girls truly make the music and lyrics their own, fusing their energy, personalities and talent into already fantastic songs, and producing something familiar yet captivatingly original, and above all else sonically epic. Any true Led Zeppelin fan would be well advised to check out this class act."

"The gals came out and killed - they were amazing - powerful, loud and heavy. The whole room shook as they opened with "Immigrant Song" and they spent the next 90 minutes tearing through an impressively diverse selection of Zeppelin classics... I honestly felt how it must have been to see Zeppelin in a bar - not the Biggest Band in the World Zeppelin but the late Sixties era Zeppelin. They were that good. A fantastic band, both capable and respectful of the Zeppelin catalog, and in no way a novelty act. "

"They're scary good, well rehearsed and note for note accurate... Once you get a taste of what they're capable of, you'll be looking for second helpings. These girls definitely rock. I'll bet even Robert Plant would agree."
